Big Ten/ACC Challenge  

#1 Northwestern vs # 18 Duke – 3 p.m. ET  

Last Time They Met: Clara Roth scored twice in a 3-0 Northwestern win last season. The Wildcats outshot the Blue Devils 16-3 and Annabel Skubisz made one save in the shutout.  

Players to Watch  

Bente Baekers (NU): The Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week scored six goals in her first two games this season including a third quarter hattrick against #23 Maine. She tallied 21 shots on the weekend.   

Brynn Crouse (DU): The freshman scored her first career goal off a rebound from a penalty corner in a 2-1 shootout win over #8 Rutgers.  

#4 Maryland @ #14 Boston College – 6 p.m. ET  

Last Time They Met: Milagros Arteta scored the game-winner in the second quarter as Boston College edged Maryland 3-2 last season. All five goals came in the first half.  

Players to Watch:  

Hope Rose (UMD): The reigning Big Ten Freshman of the Year tallied a career-high six points with two goals and two assists in a 7-1 win over Drexel. She finished the night with six shots.  

Margo Carlin (BC): The senior forward scored a goal and dished out two assists in a 5-0 shutout win over Providence. She currently is tied for first in scoring and leads the team with nine shots.  

ACC/Ivy Challenge  

Penn vs #9 Louisville – 2:30 p.m. ET 

Last Time They Met: These two teams faced off for the first ever last season at neutral site Princeton. Louisville used the goal scoring trio of Julie Kouijzer, Katie Schneider and Embry Jane Imorde to down Penn 3-1.  

Players to Watch: 

Gracyn Banks (PENN): The senior back played in every minute last season in the backfield and finished second on the team with ten points.  

Aimee Plumb (LOU): The Preseason All-ACC team member scored the game-winning goal in Louisville’s 2-1 road win over #11 Penn State. She currently is tied for first in team scoring.  

#13 Princeton @ #2 North Carolina 

Last Time They Met: Grace Shulze tied the game at 1-1 in the second quarter, but North Carolina scored three unanswered goals to win 4-1 at Princeton.  

Players to Watch: 

Beth Yeager (PRIN): The Ivy League Rookie and Offensive Player of the Year finished the season with 16 goals and six assists for 38 points. She finished second in the nation in points per game and third in goals per game.  

Ashley Sessa (UNC): The freshman made her presence known in her collegiate debut as she scored a hattrick in a 5-1 rout of #3 Michigan. She also set up the game-winning goal in their 3-2 overtime victory against #5 Iowa.
