Last Time They Met: Clara Roth scored twice in a 3-0 Northwestern win last season. The Wildcats outshot the Blue Devils 16-3 and Annabel Skubisz made one save in the shutout.  

Players to Watch  

Bente Baekers (NU): The Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week scored six goals in her first two games this season including a third quarter hattrick against #23 Maine. She tallied 21 shots on the weekend.   

Brynn Crouse (DU): The freshman scored her first career goal off a rebound from a penalty corner in a 2-1 shootout win over #8 Rutgers.

USAFH: Youth Dominates in 16-0 Win over Trinidad & Tobago

Jan. 19 —

Erin Matson, Beth Yeager, and Hope Rose combined for 10 goals and five assists as No. 15 USA opened the 2022 Pan American Cup with a dominant 16-0 win over No. 46 Trinidad and Tobago.  

With the USWNT experiencing a youth movement, the youth made their presence felt early and often as five players under the age of 22 recorded multiple points in the contest.
